South America League
54 matches
The South American League (SAL) has established itself as the beating heart of the Rainbow Six Siege competitive scene in the region, serving as the main gateway to the international stage.
The league brings together the most traditional and respected organizations in Brazil, raising the strategic level of the game. In 2026, the competition gained extra weight by serving as a qualifying stage for prestigious global events such as the Esports World Cup (EWC).
Group Stage: played in a round robin format, where every team faces every other team in best-of-one (BO1) series — a marathon that demands quick adaptation and total focus round after round.
Playoffs: is usually the climax of the competition, using a double-elimination system with best-of-three (BO3) series, where a single mistake can mean elimination or a drop to the lower bracket.
SAL isn't just a regional prize dispute — one that in recent editions has topped $140,000 — but a genuine battleground for talent. For organizations, success in the league is the essential path to securing spots in global championships.
